In 2016, SEO - Google primarily, began undergoing major changes and having your watermark feature on means your cards will not be indexed by Google which is the largest off-site source of customers. Once you turn it on, turning it off will not remove it from already approved cards.

I like that it has a "contact us" link instead of just toggle-on, toggle-off. I just made sure mine is off. I was more concerned about people taking screen captures from the preview page. But those will be low-resolution and can't really be pirated onto much anyway.
