Print Preview
Jun 12th, 2018, 11:42am

I had a card returned for edits because the reviewer said that my custom text boxes "extending over the yellow safe line in the print margin preview."  However, when I go to fix it, the print preview doesn't show up.  I just get a blue swirl and the words Creating Card Preview.

I've tried to look for an answer, but am unable to find a solution.  I'm willing to fix the card, but its hard without being able to see the yellow safe lines!  Wink

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Valerie -

I just tested it in my normal browser which is Firefox. I'm guessing the trouble you are having is your browser - or - you are being brought back to a 'cache' page which had a temporary glitch.

Two things to try:

1- Empty the cache on your browser. Log out and then log back in to GCU.

2- Try accessing using Firefox or another browser.

Keep in mind that generally speaking Explorer and some of the other browser to not always communicate well with sites like GCU that have extensively complicated code which enables us to create cards. Explorer is known to simply not work in some areas.

Try these things and see if it helps. Smiley

Thank you for the responses! Problem solved.

@Jay and Susan- I did read the gcuwiki and then missed the last sentence that said there was a print preview link under the manage card sections. (Which did end up working.)  I was attempting to use the print preview in the menu section.

@Doreen-I had actually emptied my cache yesterday when I first tried it.  I also use Firefox.

Thanks for the help!
