Sharing Description Writing Helps

As worked on descriptions I wore my internet thesaurus out. I found these web sites that are super helpful and inspirational for writing:

http://www.words-to-use.com (Be sure to read “about” as there are some copyright restrictions. It’s a great site to spark new ideas for writing because it’s based on the subject not the word.)

https://worddreams.wordpress.com (I found the “Writer’s Tips” section very helpful.)

This one is an Interesting site: https://myvocabulary.com
Based on “common core” vocabulary for schools.
I use the “subject word list” for inspiration.

Isn’t the internet great? It’s like having a library in my home!

Great resources, thank you for sharing. This is helpful to me because I noticed that all of my descriptions (and I only have a handful of cards so far) are beginning to meld together...and on top of that - if I change a keyword or two - I think all my descriptions would read like excerpts from a second-rate romance novel. I'm laughing out loud at myself as I write this because it's soOoo true, Heheh!
