Not pleased with the cloud for storage.
 
Though some of my songs from iTunes have been transferred by the cloud - not my choice - I think the use has expired.
 
I use my external harddrive for all image and trip photo storage.

Anything/everything digital has inherit risk, all this stuff is just plastic and circuits...it all has a shelf life (then consider all the destructive malware, adware, spyware...nothing is 100% safe on your computer or in Space). Sure, I agree that Google or Apple could someday go out of business or get hacked, but I believe that the more likely scenario is a personal computer fail or hard drive crash - it happens to someone everyday. I've felt the burn of losing files on a frozen hard drive and that is the reason why I decided to make the move to Space.  But whatever means you feel most comfortable with, Redundancy is the key. And who knows, maybe someday it'll all go back to shoe boxes stuffed with negatives....
