As a reminder in support of our Submission Guidelines officially established and put into practice in January of 2012:
No cards will be grandfathered in. ALL cards approved before 1/1/12 will undergo re-review. This weeding or culling effort is ongoing and is being done both ad hoc and store by store.
A few things to keep in mind:
1. do not be surprised if your older cards are being declined or returned for edits
2. read the comments in your decline or return email and be sure to refer to the Submission Guidelines for details
3. we urge artists to do some weeding of their own - weed before we do!
4. reviewers do not have access to sales data so if you feel a strong selling card has been declined simply send the card review team an email for reconsideration and it will be forwarded to me. Strong sales = substantial, recent, frequent and relevant

It has been three years now that we've been working with these submission guidelines. We are in full swing. It's an opportunity for GCU's entire collection to shine and reflect favorably on each artist. We realize it can be a painful process but it is a necessary one for all of us to grow and thrive.
We have come a long way and appreciate our artist community taking these changes to heart and rising to the occasion. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
