I think that a 'like' only adds to the number of 'likes' that shows for the page if it's 'liked' from a personal page. But a 'like' from a business page does show up on your page that you liked it, but doesn't add to that persons 'like' count Grin

it must not - I just went through all my email notifications for "likes" and should have 33 but I am only showing 27. I have to do the same thing and go back through and like all those I already did with my personal page.

Doreen, I set mine up as an "Artist" page - is that going to hurt me in the long run and should I switch to a business? I couldn't find a category that really seemed to fit under "business".

@Donna, an artist page is a business page

I think Doreen was referring to a personal profile that doesn't have a 'like' button.

Hi Donna ... no I don't think so, they didn't have "Artist page" when I set mine up ... LOL ... as long as it is a "LIKE" vs become my friend page (which yours is) it will do just fine for you.

I have no evidence in the 2+ years I've had mine that it does a thing for sales, but it does offer a bit more exposure
