pixel dimensions (Read 2615 times)

marcia_216173 GCU Newbies Posts: 49	pixel dimensions Jan 18^th, 2013, 1:39pm many of the tutorials refer to 1500 x 2100 pixels as image/card dimensions. is that still a limit, since maximum image size has been increased from 3.8mb to 6mb?

Diana_131887 Gold Member artist Posts: 606	Re: pixel dimensions Reply #1 - Jan 18^th, 2013, 1:53pm the dimension in inches are 5 x 7". Some of my designs are 600dpi or 500dpi images. As long as they are 5 x7 and 6mb or less. Does that help?

Winston_232180 GCU Newbies Posts: 4	Re: pixel dimensions Reply #5 - May 24^th, 2013, 7:03pm so, as long as my image fits the ratio for a 5x7 (or 7x5), it can be any size above 1500x2100> i have hi-resolution DSLRs, and many of my images are 18-20mp... as long as i crop to a 1.4:1 image ratio, i'm fine, right?

6mb is still the limit and for 5x7 cards you don't need overkill
