Artist's Notes - an SEO question
Feb 17th, 2011, 7:56am

Hi all -

This is to those who think about SEO (Search Engine Optimization, to the rest) and know how to use it to their best advantage.

Currently, my artist's notes follow this format:
You can add inside personalization if you wish - or contact the artist for more design help. CARD DESCRIPTION.  INSIDE TEXT: xxyyzz.

Would I be better off with putting the CARD info first and the "you can customize" pratter last?  Would this list differently in Search Engines and be more appealing and likely to pull folks into clicking? Or should I keep as it is (and if so, why)?

Thank you in advance ..

Hi Peggy,
We actually don't recommend adding things like the inside text or card description for SEO purposes in your artist notes field.  The space is meant for the shopper to glean something of interest or value about the card.   For example:
Can it be customized?  An English translation?  Where was it taken?  What was the inspiration?

The inside text is already included on the page, so it would be repeated in the artist notes field.
