Linking to a page of related cards
Jul 28th, 2010, 4:20am

I'm not sure if it's me doing something wrong or whether I'm trying to do the impossible!

When I post on my 'products' blog - http://mugsmousepadsandmore.blogspot.com/ - I keep to a theme for each post, eg today's theme was 'Sympathy' cards.

I wanted to link the words 'sympathy cards' in my introduction to the page of cards on that topic in my store. But the url took me to the GCU homepage, not the page of appropriate cards I'd brought up by searching.

Is there a way to do this so that the link brings up my page of Sympathy cards?

Hi, Judy,

Here's the link to your card store's page with Sympathy cards:

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much, Penny!  Smiley

But how did you get it? (It's something I'll want to do often).

I don't know what's going on but I just copied and pasted it and tried to add it to my blog.

When I clicked on 'test this link' there was a very long pause and it eventually took me to my storefront - still that's an improvement on taking me to the GCU home page!

Hi, Judy,

I just went to your store, and clicked on the occasions link for your cards, then on sympathy, to display the cards in that category.  Then I just copied the information that showed up in the browser window.

Hi Penny - I still can't get the link to work in Blogger so it may be an issue to do with Blogger.

The way I've found to work around it, is by featuring the cards I want to link to and then posting the link to my storefront. That way they all get seen together but it's a very long way around to get the result!  Sad
