Art contest

Hi !

There are several ways to make known his job as an artist. There are blogs, Squidoo, Qassia, social networks as Facebook and LinkedIn, but there are also Art Contests for graphic designers & illustrators.

Such is the case with this site: http://blog.comozo.com/
You can submit your work, and people are voting record artwork.
It is a way to show your work in GCU.

I just checked out this site and I certainly would never upload my artwork there.
They are using something called a "Creative Commons Copyright"
which reads:

You are free:

* to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work * to Remix — to adapt the work
Under the following conditions:
*
Attribution. You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
*
* For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the license terms of this work. The best way to do this is with a link to this web page.
* Any of the above conditions can be waived if you get permission from the copyright holder.
* Nothing in this license impairs or restricts the author's moral rights.

Basically it means that as long as someone includes a link to your website they can print, distribute,photoshop your art, anything they want to your work w/o your prior approval.
I am a professional illustrator and I wouldn't go near something like this.

I send a mail to the webmaster and he replied the text "Unless otherwise specified, all content is made available under the Creative Commons License." applies only to the blog template (Wordpress template). I just tried to bring some ideas. Even if they could not be the best my intention was good. If you have good ideas to offer us, please !
