I'm not certain if the card sold was for the request.  I have noticed that my age specific cards sell better than my "plain or non-age specific" Birthday cards.

Yes, they do sell better. That has been my experience also. But I think the inside verse makes a difference too.

Hi Sandra,
Typically no, you don't need to tell us that you've created cards for a request HOWEVER since our approval queue is getting so long it does help if you post the product id here so we can jump right to those cards and get them approved asap.
 
So, yes, it helps.
