Please categorize your cards in the following:

Shopper will be able to find these cards at:
http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/shopping/cb.asp?cid=1341

Thank you!

I'm confused, was the request for someone to "Be my Mother in law" or "Be my Other"?

I don't know what an "Other" is either....maybe it is someone who is willing to stand in for the groom or bride in case they change their mind at the last moment...lol...wouldn't that be a hoot?  I do think that back in the dueling days, one might have an "other" to duel for them (not a bad deal, maybe the other guy gets killed and you don't have to risk your life or poor shooting skills).  Hey, maybe it is someone who has a shot gun at the wedding...JUST KIDDING...I'm getting a bit punchy, must be time for bed.  Night!

Sorry for the confusion.

The customer is looking for a "will you be my mother-in-law" card.    I suppose a clever way to get in good with the in-laws Wink

I didn't want to create a specific category for this as it will not be that common of a category.   So I created an "other" category to cover all the non-common wedding invitation requests like this.

Hope that helps.

Good morning, Smiley

I have uploaded 4 cards. I had put them a Profile card, but I wonder if it's not necessary (because it's an invitation card) ? I had put them into Occasions & holidays >>> Wedding, and in Relashionship >>> Mother-in-law...

Correct, invitations should not be profiled as they're not appropriate to suggest in email reminders.  Good call!

Congrats on the sale. Smiley

I sold 2 of them in the 'African American' variant requested in another thread.... (Same day, so probably the same person)

I've been waiting for Mindy to say if it was the original requester that bought the two, but I am wondering if it's normal for her to announce when the original requester buys a card? or if she just does it when it's a large sale?

No matter how it's announced,
Thanks Mindy and GCU for the tip, keep them coming, and I hope many more sales for us all! Smiley

Hi Cheryl,
We don't have a routine or set process of posting when the original shopper has made a purchase.  The good news is, there are so many orders coming in sometimes it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.  And more good news, no matter if it's the original shopper or not it's great to see the cards selling  Smiley

We are continually making improvements to this "request a card" process. We're trying to get it as automated as possible without sending you on wild goose chases.  Hopefully at some point this will include an indicator when the original shopper has purchased.

Hope that helps.
