Mysterious Site Names for Cards Sold?
Oct 5th, 2007, 4:37am

Hi, guys!  Okay--who knows what the names of the 'sites' mean for card sales?

If you go to your store report---and click on 'Cards Sold'--there is a list which lets you know when it sold, order number and 'Site'---some 'sites' listed I see on mine are:

GCU, (which I thought all the sales came from??)
RCENT
BREM
BEST

Anyone know what these mean?  Or what 'sites' they are?
Thanks---I'd love to know!  Smiley

Go to administrative settings ==> reports & analysis ==> store report ==> show all , then scroll down a bit untill you see 'site *'
when you put your mouse on the asterick you'll see what all the abbreviations stand for.

Thanks, Corrie--but I think I'm retarded.  I went there--to store report, showed all--and no 'astrick' to click on--just the abbreviations of the sites....??
Am I still looking in the wrong spot?

Look down at the bottom of the page. You'll see "powered by Bigdates-Solutions.com" on the right - that's GCU's parent company. From the FAQ:

"BigDates-Solutions.com is the leader in reminder service solutions licensing its reminder service technology to other companies branded "Powered by BigDates-Solutions". A key element of BigDates reminder services is the suggestions in each email reminder. These suggestions are appropriate paper greeting cards, free Ecards and gifts. The appropriateness is based on the type of event, gender of the receiver, relationship of the sender and receiver, age of the receiver, etc."

There are a number of other sites in the BigDates network where your GCU cards are available for sale. In your store report, you will see which site a card was sold from. You need do nothing; your cards automatically appear on the sites. The abbreviations stand for:

BDATES: BigDates.com
BEST: BestReminders.com
BOXX: DateBoxx.com
BREM: Birthday-Reminders.com
GCU: GreetingCardUniverse.com
RCENT: Reminder-Center.com
SPOT: ReminderSpot.com

Hi Corrie,
Thanks for listing all the different sites sales can come from.  I did not realize there were 7 different sources for sales--this is good news.  So far I have only had sales from 4 places.  This is good information to have.
Thanks again. Smiley
