problem with uploading images please help
Oct 3^rd, 2007, 12:19pm

Hi, I have tried to upload 2 images and it says they aren't acceptable because they are 72 dpi. But when I check them on my hard drive they say they are 300 dpi. I have tried 3 times to upload them. How can I fix the problem so I can upload the images? This is the first time this has happened to me just fyi, prior to these I have uploaded 28 images just fine.

We made a few server changes this morning, which caused the glitch in the upload process. Things should be back to normal shortly. I'll post again when this issue has been corrected. Shaun

DENISE_132110 Gold Member artist Posts: 769	Re: problem with uploading images please help Reply #4 - Oct 3^rd, 2007, 12:28pm i just talked with the admins in a live chat. it is a glitch and they are checking it out. however, he said that all new cards will not show up until tomorrow morning anyway so we won't lose out. they will get it straightened out where we can upload today more than likely.

Hi Shaun-

It's Monday evening, 10/8 and I'm having the same problem uploading an image. Over the past few months I've uploaded 40 or so with no problem (they all "meter" as Best) but this particular 2100 X 1500, 300 dpi image reads "72 dpi, resolution too low." So I guess the glitch continues. Maybe it won't upload because it's a Mother-In-Law Day card Roll Eyes

Please advise.

Our test images were uploaded correctly, but please let me know if your images are still listed as 72dpi after upload. Shaun

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread...

I'm new to Greeting Card Universe and am trying to upload my first image. I have followed the criteria of making my image 300dpi, 5" x 7", 1500 x 2100 pixels - however every time I try to upload it I get the following error message:

Not Accepted:
This image will not look good in print.
The image size is too low and will produce a grainy or blurry picture. You need to upload an image with dimensions of 1260x900 or higher.

I have checked and double checked my image and it is definitely the right specifications, well above the 1260x900 asked for. I have even tried uploading images that are larger in pixel size than 2100x1500 (and still under the maximum MB size) but get the same error.

Can anyone help? undecided
