GCU Forum - Having to log in twice?

Having to log in twice?

Is there any reason why I seem to have to log in twice to be able to post in the forum? The first time I log in it logs me into my artist account, then I have to log in again before it shows me the new posts symbols and lets me post. Is this how it is supposed to be...or is it a glitch. Not that it is a major problem...just curious to know.

We did experience a traffic problem earlier today that caused the login issue that you encountered.

Generally once you login to your artist account, you'll also be logged into the forum.

Please let us know if you have any additional trouble.

Corrie, are you still asked to login to the forum even when you are logged into your GCUniverse Artist account?

Hi Shaun,
Just thought I'd let you know that I've always had to log in twice, still do ... I thought it was "normal" on GCU to have to do so though it IS a pain and does prevent me from contributing as much to the forum posts as I'd like, as when I log in to the forums it takes me back to the main page and I have to search for the post again in order to reply -- so most of the time I just don't bother ...

Reply #6 - Sep 26^th, 2007, 2:27am Hi Shaun, Today I received the e-mail notification of a reply to this topic so I followed the link to look at it, but as is normally the way although it was showing I was logged into my artist account I still had to log into the forum to reply to the post. I know what you mean about logging in twice--not an 'arm twister'--but it does make it a pain to have to go back to the main menu and search for the forum post that you want to reply to.

Perhaps if the log-in twice remains the same, the same forum would load right back up? I'm sure that would make it much simpler to be active in the forums.
