Hello,
I work oldfashioned by hand and then get the digital image by scan or photograph. My monotype prints are 100% handwork I even do not use a printing press. For the majority of my work I use my own sketches done from live or on site.

Some cards are just classic coloured pencil
Others are drawn using a free download called paint.net which does alot of the things that paintshop does - but free!
There are one or two photos in there but it's mostly drawings.

Nobody says you have to draw well anyway!  Tha cartoon figures are the most fun!

All of my black and white animal drawings are done in pencil left handed and then scanned to create a card.  The  color designs are done with PS right handed. (lots of work).  All in all very fun and i do enjoy it.
