 Artist: Robin L. Nellist About Me: My mom, who was an artist and photographer in the 50's and 60's, gave me my first camera when I was 12. She died two years later and I ended up teaching myself about photography, once I figured out how much I loved taking pictures. I did a year at the Art Institute for Portrait and Event photography, but don't really do much of either lately. I love the way photography has made me view the world and I enjoy shooting things that generally get overlooked by people. I like to keep my work varied but quite simple, just shooting what I see, as I see it. Every single one of my images was taken by me, personally. I'm pretty sure that, if asked, I could give you the circumstances and story (if there is one) for each image. I hope you enjoy my pictures. They are sort of like my children and I love creating them. -- Please let me know if you would like text with any of my blank cards--or different text from what is shown on the others. I'm happy to customize any of them for you. If you see an image you would like an enlargement of, please let me know. My Interests: Volunteering with dogs and cats, reading, spending time with friends, learning about new things, I'm always up for an adventure, weekend trips, movies, music, and oh so much more.
