About Me:  I love visual contrasts, especially in scenes of a nautical nature -- so much so that sometimes it seems as if an ancient sea captain inhabits my bones! My art arises from a world existing somewhere between computer artistry and photography, shadow and light, shapes and color. My work strives to convey a sense of peace, calm, energy, or wonder. Lighthouses, seascapes, oceans, sunsets, sailing ships, boats and critters -- all wonderful and uplifting -- are my favorite subjects. I have worked in various media over many years but a combination of the eye of a camera and the wizardry of a computer is my favorite media. I love to share this vision with others.
