About Me: I'm a 64 year old, retired, married woman with a terrific (artistic) husband and son. The son is grown, an artist and musician; my husband carves songbirds, makes incredibly delicious soup, and shares my love of the outdoors. I spent most of my working life as a customer service manager. Retirement is a joy as it allows time to wander about with my little camera and take lots of pictures. It is these pictures I hope to share with you - perhaps they'll be a window into the natural world some of you don't get a chance to experience.

My Interests: Photography, fishing, writing poetry and prose, reading, our natural world, and listening to all kinds of music.

» As we enter into the summer season with vacations and eating out, please think of the Swordfish. The species is dangerously over-fished but, because it is such a popular menu choice (money maker), the word is not "out there". What you are choosing to eat is a baby fish; the marvelous monsters are a thing of the past, and healthy, older breeding stock is in short supply. If you can find it in your heart to decide on another option other than Swordfish, you will help. Of course it takes a large number of people to make a difference, so please pass the word.

Thanks for dropping by and browsing through my cards! The theme for all my cards is Nature, and I love bringing the natural world in for you to see. If you would like a more personal design of a card you see, please contact me with details and I'll do my best to design it for you, no strings attached. I'll try to have special requests done in 24 hours - then GCU will review and post it (may take a day or so). The majority of my cards are blank inside because I believe the handwritten card is a gift and very special treat to the person receiving it. Handwritten communication is almost a lost art - an endangered species, if you will, and a sad thing to lose in this hustle-bustle world.
